I fear my blog's feelings my be hurt. Real life has been large and in charge these days and I fear I can't give bloggy my undivided attention just now. I'm hoping she'll forgive me.
I guess that's the cycle of things. Ebb and Flow and all that.
2010 is turning out to be the year of Epic Aromatherapy Education. Here's my travel/class agenda so far:
January: Florida 3 day workshop - Chemical Component Blending
February: Florida 5 days - Advanced Graduate Aromatherapy ProgramMarch: Florida 5 days - continuation from February
April: Florida 5 days - Advanced Teacher Training
May: NY 5 days - participate in Aromatherapy Certification Program as part of my Advanced Teacher Training (I'll be offering this class through my own aromatherapy school in the Spring of 2011)
June: NY 5 days - continuation of May class
July: NY 5 days - continuation of May/June classesJuly: NY 3 day workshop - Aromatic Blending. This one I'm taking as fun play weekend with my husband!
In addition I've been doing case studies, working on taking Liz's Garden Aromatherapy to a new level with branding and building a web presence. And now I'm in the process of creating an aromatherapy school. I'm working on a name for it and welcome ideas.
And, of course, life marches on around me. Our precious Bean visits every weekend and we do things like go sledding, throw stones and just be in the moment. My massage practice supports my education habit and once in a while I remind James that he has a wife by cooking a nice meal or going on restful retreats. I try to keep my own inner child alive by working on my soulcollage(r) cards and my artjournal.
Fragrant Fridays will still appear (when you least expect it) and I'll continue to share all my experiences along the way.
So please be patient dear blog and all my wonderful readers if I don't post and don't comment everyday. I'm still here and still reading, enjoying and being nourished by your wonderful blogs.

And I don't remember when I've been happier.

I think we all know exactly how you feel. It can be hard to keep up with all of the good things happening in life.
You can't remember when you've been happier! Wow! I love hearing this. I'm so so glad for you my dear friend.
I'll put my thinking cap on for you and your school...see if I can come up with some smelly ideas. Oh! Oh! Here's one: Nose Knowledge College! Tee-hee, Sorry! couldn't resist....I'll finish my morning coffee now. Blessings.
Husband is on it too: So far: NSP School (Nature's Secret Power) or NBP (Nature's Blessed Power)...He'll be pondering all day, trust me!
OOO! So excited to hear you are starting a school!!
Your school is going to be AMAZING!!!!
I´m so happy to see you so happy! :D
Cool plan. I remember your wishing to study last year. You´ve come a long way baby! ;)
It's late and I'm silly, but, for the school you are creating and needing a name for, how about:
Stinky U
HAhahahahah_ is that a great name or what?
Maybe when the spring thaw comes and you're home from galavanting, we can finally meet over a cup of tea, huh? I feel like I've known you for years!
I completely understand... I too am largely absent from my bloggity life... I wish you excitement, energy and enlightenment for the time that you are in the real world! We will all welcome you back when you are able!
Liz ~ and like so many others of you, I am much too too busy for bloggity life, still .... i miss it badly. Take good and proper care of yourself. Hope to hear more of your amazing pursuits soon! ♥
Oh, i got a little tear in my eye when I read about how happy you are. You're such an inspiration, the last few months have seen SUCH a transformation. It's been inspirational to watch. YAY YOU.
Now just invent the 48 hour day and blog some more, would'ya? xx
It sounds like you have a wonderful year ahead. I am attempting to find conferences for my social work license that are not the traditional conferences (psychopharmacology, traditional ways of working with mental health issues). I have taken one on journaling as therapy, and am taking integrating yoga into social work practice. I would love to find something on aromatherapy and social work, but I can't imagine NASW (ones who credit courses) approving something like that. I look forward to reading more of your blogs!
Ah Liz, I just read your last 3 posts and my heart is happy for you! Retreat sounded absolutely grounding and something that I would like to do for me and my man, so thank you for the inspiration. Bean...OMG, the first tobaganning is so wonderful to witness on their faces! LOL! We haven't had enough snow here in south ontario to do so all winter (!!!) so we're definitely missing it this year. And you...all those expanding, enriching courses to deepen your practise as a healer....wow....I am with you in spirit and wish you much fun (and blending) on your journey. I am running low on some EO's in my own storage and I keep forgetting to check out your store, so I will! And look forward to hearing more about your course in 2011...
CHeering you on from Canada,
WRO xo
